On Friday, 3rd of September, 2021, the oil city was painted black and yellow as we officially launched our bus ticket booking service, Travelwaka, in Warri Delta state. In the beautifully decorated Cedar hall, we marked the start of a new dawn in bus travel for the amazing people of Warri.
In preparation for the grand event, our CEO Onyeka Akumah went on media rounds at Kpoko1005FM and CrownFM89 where he spoke in detail about the Travelwaka service and the ease it would bring to frequent travellers in Warri. With an established presence in the city, users can schedule trips ahead of time, book bus tickets from Warri to over 30 Nigerian cities, and get easy access to the new city manager for any enquiry.
As always, we came bearing gifts. Loads of cash prizes were won and some lucky winners went home with air fryers, microwaves, electric irons and many other mouth-watering gifts. Check out pictures from the event below!
