Treepz: Our 2-year journey

How it started VS How it’s going

On this day, after using different forms of transportation in Lagos, Onyeka Akumah CEO and Co-founder of Treepz, knew that there was a need to revolutionize the public transportation sector in Nigeria. Joining forces with other Co-founders Johnny Enagwolor, Afolabi Oluseyi and John Shaibu, Treepz (formerly Plentywaka) was born.

The Launch

On the 16th of September, 2019, 25 brand new buses stood basking in the sun at the Pistis event centre, Lekki waiting to be unveiled alongside 25 licensed heroes (Drivers)

The goal was simple

To help over 12 million people move better every day in Lagos.
